This charming classic is the story of a 1930s middle class Zagreb family who meet a dandy, the iconic Mr Fulir (after which even restaurants were named in Zagreb) during an outing in the countryside. Told by his six-year-old son, Perica Šafranek, this film is proclaimed the Croatian film of the 20^th century by the Film Critics Association as it never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces with its evergreen songs, old school flirtatiousness and hilarious love triangle plots. It’s a golden oldie and a fantastic film to take your parents to.
