Children – Victims of the War (Djeca žrtve rata)

In 1991, Suzana Hetrich visited the Children’s Hospital in Zagreb just after the first victims of the Homeland war had arrived, documenting their pain and fear for all the world to see. Fifteen years later, she located them again to see what memories they had of their traumatic experience. The result is a moving, unnerving documentary about the most innocent and helpless victims of war all over the world – children. Specially awarded by the Red Cross International Committee.
