An elderly couple are the only inhabitants of a mountainous village which they take care of after its occupants migrate one by one to far away countries, including Australia. These caretakers lead us into a world of demographic tragedy, cobwebs, dust and transience which is all too common a feature of the Croatian landscape. This poetic documentary is is a piece of cinematic magic set in a beautiful, melancholic region.
